In a SuperBowl Final that won’t live long in the memory one of the biggest talking points of the extravaganza was the half time film trailer for Jason Bourne, as Matt Damon reprises his most iconic role as that of the CIA assassin for the first time in 9 years in the latest offering of the action spy thriller series.
This will be the fifth instalment of the series of films – based of the novels of Robert Ludlum – which have so far been a huge success, taking more than $1.2 billion dollars at the box office from the previous 4 films, and with the third instalment ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ winning 3 Academy Awards, and ranking as one of the top 100 most successful films of all time.
Paul Greengrass will be returning as director once again, while the likes of Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel, Tommy Lee Jones and Julia Stiles will also be joining Damon on screen.
Released by Universal Pictures the film is set to hit the UK screens on July 28th, and you can check out the teaser trailer that’s got everyone talking below.
