It’s back, the NE1 Newcastle Fashion Week returns to the north east on 9th May 2014 and is set to be bigger and better than ever. Aiming to elevate its reputation as a world-renowned fashion event, the 9-day extravaganza promises catwalks, celebrity guests, parties, competitions, promotions and much more.
International designer Julien Macdonald, musician Sophie Ellis Bextor and world-renowned make-up artist Lauren Luke are amongst the big names NE1 has attracted to the popular sartorial celebration. And, just like in previous years, Cruise will play a huge part in the event by presenting the ‘Vivienne Westwood with Cruise’ catwalk show in the city’s luxurious Assembly Rooms. The 8pm show, which will perfectly conclude a full day of catwalks, is set to feature 20 outfits from the iconic punk legend, Dame Vivienne Westwood.
