Aside from being steeped in history Edinburgh also plays host to world-class events and festivals all year round. The first one of these being the internationally celebrated Edinburgh International Film Festival kicking off on the 19th of June. Credited with discovering and promoting the best in international cinema the festival which runs till the end of June will see the UK premiere of 'Breathe In' as well as a host of other new film releases due to be announced soon.
