What's On- The Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh

Every year Edinburgh University lend the Pleasance buildings to the fringe festival, the Pleasance is the perfect place to go for an off the cuff festival drink or show, after all there is a total of 23 fringe venues crammed into one place, the biggest being the Plesance Grand room seating 770 and the smaller more intimate rooms, the Cellar and Hut both seating 50 people. If you're not sure what you want to see the Pleasance offers a huge courtyard with three bars and out door heaters at every table making it a very cosy place to sit and have a drink even on the chillier summer nights. Along with the buzz of the festival atmosphere there are always promotional staff willing to help you find something to see whether it's Comedy, Cabaret or even something for the children. Tickets are very reasonably priced, shows are starting all the time and the acts definitly wont let you down, both Frank Skinner and Graham Norton started off their careers in the Pleasance buildings so who knows you might just get a chance to discover the next big thing and with the festival coming to a close this weekend its definately not to be missed!
