Lotus Love

Luxury British car manufacturer Lotus has unveiled its newest sports car; the Evora GT430. Feast your eyes on its fastest, lightest, and most powerful road-legal car ever.

The 430 is a vision of beautiful elegance with flaunting unique bodywork that includes specifically designed carbon-fiber body panels, giving it a look that suits its classification.  The supercar features larger front apertures, splitter, air blades and louvers on the front, and aero ducts behind each wheel and a large rear diffuser on the back. This aesthetic, complemented by a dark metallic gray paint, provides a sharp finish that continues in the crafted cabin.
Handmade components adorn the interior, including detailed carbon race seats, door sills and a lightweight carbon instrument cover.  Furthermore, the steering wheel, dashboard, door panels, transmission tunnel and center console are all trimmed in a combination of black alcantara and perforated leather.  The tailgate also incorporates a louvered section that is matched by composite quarter panels.

Boasting a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine that gallops 430 horsepower, the vehicle races from 0-60mph in a mere 3.7 seconds while topping at a max speed of 190mph.
A titanium exhaust comes as standard, as well as a Torsen limited-slip differential and a six-speed manual gearbox with a low-inertia, single-mass flywheel to enable faster gear changes.

The new Lotus is also lighter, weighing in at 1,258kg, which is 26kg less from the already light Evora Sport 410, as it incorporates lightweight Eibach springs with tires that are 10mm wider.

All of this coupled together means the new Evora GT430 delivers tremendous real-world speed and handling unheard of in its class.

The GT430 is scheduled for a Spring 2018 release.  You can find more out about it here.
