Faux first began back in 1919, the family run business, founded in London, continues to be based in the capital and is still ran by the same family. The secret to the business’s success is down to their constant adaptation with the times.
Their story began just after the First World War and they went on to produce handmade coats for President Kennedy’s daughter, Caroline. The company’s progression then went on to earn them the accolade of the Queen’s Award for export. In 2002 Faux provided luxurious furs for the James Bond film ‘Die Another Day’ and the success continues, today the brand can be seen on TV shows such as X Factor and Big Brother.
An absolute must-have for the winter season is the Faux fur Camille gilet, available in black and brown. The longline design features a small stand up collar, concealed hook and eye fastening, side pockets and each one is fully lined.
