Getting out into the country always makes a nice change, but now Mercedes-Benz have made it even nicer with the introduction of their Marco Polo luxury camper.
Roughing it has never been less rough with in this self-styled glampervan, which boasts a rear ‘love seat’ which effortlessly turns into a single or double bed and self-inflates at the press of a button.
Not only that, there’s also a two-sleeper memory foam bed in the fold up roof, meaning you can have two stories of slumber perfection.
For when you get a little peckish the Marco Polo is equipped with a full kitchen unit with dual burner stove and a fold down dinner table which the driver and passenger seats swivel round to face, allowing you to enjoy a proper sit down meal when out in the wilderness.
As well as that, amenities include a sink and 40 litre refrigerator – all coated with an easy clean, impact resistant glass to maintain the luxurious aesthetic of the vehicle.
Designed in conjunction with campervan specialists Westfalia, the Marco Polo comes in a number of different four-cylinder turbo diesel engine levels, as well as a having various interior trims to choose from (yacht-style teak flooring and light leather interior is what is shown in these images).
While the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo is out now in Germany, all other Europeans will have to wait until early 2015 before it is unleashed on our shores.
