Long associated with the famous Left Bank area of Paris, Saint Laurent has now opened its new flagship store on the Right Bank's chicest shopping street - Avenue Montaigne. They have chosen a spectacular interior, utilising marble, brass and glass over two levels which embodies the house's new branding for the label, since Slimane took over as creative director. Now simplistically called Saint Laurent.
Saint Laurent Avenue Montaigne was designed and based on the pure tradition of 'French Arts Decoratifs' with an over-riding homage to French modernism. The new store emulates an atmosphere of light, movement, and a glamorous age. LED strips are positioned beneath nickel shelving throughout the store with product suspended from the ceiling on mirrored frames. Floor to ceiling video screens are utilised to showcase the brands most recent catwalk show.
Further store openings announced include Saint Laurent's Sloane Street concept store in London, due to open this Autumn.
