After an amazing assemblage of top-class catwalk pieces from world-renowned designers in the French capital, we take a look at some of our favourite looks from Paris Fashion Week 2014.
Saint Laurent
Saint Laurent’s chief designer Hedi Slimane gives a nod to an 80s with this elegant black number and embraces party girl chic with graphic abstract prints through a one shoulder mini-dress.
Givenchy
Givenchy’s collection embraced tailored features throughout, perfectly utilising collars, lapels and trousers. The Italian fashion house also showcased bright swathes of draping fabric and leather that clung to curves, resulting in a seductive, glamorous shimmer finish.
Chloe
Airy, floating dresses with delicate fabrics and layers featured heavily in Chloe’s Paris collection. Moving away from monochrome pallets, Chloe also championed fresh, marine blues in a range of plissé halters, dresses and jackets.
Balenciaga
Balenciaga introduced a clean and sporty chic whilst retaining an unmistakable feminine vibe. For those who believed peplums were out of date, Balenciaga put a stop to that with long and short, petal-like peplums aplenty.
