To celebrates the 50th anniversary of the 911 Porsche has released the special edition version of their infamous car. First debuting in Frankfurt back in September 1963, having since enjoyed seven generations of successful descendants with the last one being the type 991 released back in 2011. The 2013 911 features the wide body from the Carrera 4 model (released in 1988) and pays homage to the original through the inclusion of the 3.8L flat-six engine, Fuchs wheels, a chrome grill, classically styled gauges, and houndstooth-patterned sport seats. This particular model will be limited to 1,963 units, and will come available in a choice of a PDK automatic or a seven-speed manual transmission.
