Rise & Shine is the truly stunning drone video shot by American Robert McIntosh. And it is truly stunning on so many levels. Firstly it was shot in one take, and the level of skill needed to navigate the drone through some really tight squeezes almost defies belief.
Also the video was recorded at California’s world famous Venice Beach. Now in the video you can count on one hand just how many people you see in it. This is no mean feat considering that Venice Beach is the most popular beach in America with roughly 16 million visitors a year!
As the drone flies around the beach it does so in such sweeping fashion that you feel like a bird soaring through the air. The drone goes through trees and under benches that it becomes one seamless take from the street to the ocean and all in the warm glow of daybreak.
And for those curious, Rise & Shine is shot using a 250 sized mini quad drone and a GoPro Hero 4.
