Rita Ora is as famous for her fashion forward style as she is for her music. The 22 year old is now being recognised in the industry by landing her first major fashion cover. Elle has featured the pop icon in their Women In Music May issue, firstly wearing a pink Chanel Haute Couture gown with a Ken O'Rourke headpiece teamed with sultry red lips which has rapidly become her signature look. In her second look she gets playful with a Calvin Klein bustier, Philip Tracey headpiece and whiskers.
Inside the magazine the singer opens up about her personal style, meeting Jay-Z and her childhood idols, the Spice Girls. She revelas how she managed to land her killer Marchesa gown for the MTV Europe Music Awards using her cheeky charm, "I went up to [Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman] and said 'Hi, I'm Rita. Nice to meet you. I need to wear your dress', she was like, 'What dress?' They've got like 10 million dresses! I said 'Look, I have your dress as the screen saver on my phone. This red dress needs to be on my body'"
Rita Ora got her way and she wore the Marchesa gown and now you can also own a piece from the collection. Here at Cruise we are ecstatic to now be official stockists of the designer.
