Once again its that time of the year known in the fashion calendar as menswear month, a time when people in the industry flaunt their stuff at the tradeshows. London Collections succesfully kicked off the global menswear circuit, followed by Florence, Milan and last but not least, Paris. Pitti has become some what of a status symbol within the menswear world as its no longer just a trade show to peruse the latest designers collections from around the world but its also a battleground for dapper gentlemen, overflowing with “sprezzatura” showing of their individual style. The amount of press attention this show attracts is crazy, what with the hundreds of journalists, photographers and fashion bloggers present, not to mention the internet-fame-hungry visitors who attend, some of which I swear rock fancy dress just to get their picture taken! Anyway here's a small selection of the fashion savvy on the streets of Firenze.
