A firm favourite of stars including Sophia Loren and Nicole Kidman, Loris Azzaro has been making spectacular dresses for the elite of the French society since 1962. Artist Director Mathilde Castello Branco continues to ensure that each collection remains true to Loris and the creations often feature his signature daring cut outs and intricate bead work.
The Spring Summer 13 runway show was worked around the theme 'After Dark' and the light work played a huge part as it shone beautifully as it hit the stunning evening gowns. Each piece had been finished to absolute perfection with crystal adornments, mesh work and soft, delicate pleating. A selection of Azzaro's wonderful creations are now available here at Cruise, the Narlita floor sweeping black gown is breathtaking. The smooth silhouette teamed with the striking crystal work is simply show stopping. Or opt for a fashion forward take on evening wear and go for the Neige cady jumpsuit in off white, the sleek pants and deep plunge neckline ooze ultimate glamour.
And for all you Azzaro fans out there here's a little interesting fact for you... The French fashion house always names their collections alphabetically by season. The first ever collection featured clothing all given names starting with the letter A, the next names started with B and so on. Spring Summer 13 is the letter N and the collection includes the Narlita and the Neige. Azzaro did admit that he sometimes would miss out a letter, like Q, X and Z, as it proved too hard to find names for those letters.
