This year's Oscars proved another huge talking point when it came to the gowns being worn on the red carpet, each and every star builds up to this global event to ensure they look nothing but perfect. The gowns came in a fabulous array of colours, lengths and textures and each stood out in its own individual way, they all looked truly beautiful. Catherine Zeta Jones particularly stood out from the crowd in her stunning gold gilded Zuhair Murad gown as did 20 year old Miley Cyrus in her white backless design created by French fashion house Azzaro.
The after parties also proved to be a huge success when it came to fashion and Molly Sims certainly shone this year in her shimmering ivory gown at Elton John's party. The full length 'Angli' gown is by Temperley and it features beautiful crystal embellished lattice work on the sleeves and the back. The detailing is made up of Swarovski crystals, faceted beads and lovely shaped sequins which are all hand applied to the tulle base to achieve the breathtaking design. The silk mix gown has a fixed grosgrain waistband to ensure the dress is elegantly pulled in to showcase the female silhouette beautifully, it simply is exquisite.
