California visionary cycling brand Vintage Electric has released the ‘CRUZ’, a wonderful vintage-style custom E-bicycle.
The limited edition high-performance bike runs on a 52-volt battery that can last over 30 miles a ride, and can be fully charged within two hours, although you could just pedal to get where you are going too.
With a design inspired by the American Art Deco movement, the bicycle features a sandcast aluminum battery box, powerful LED lighting, a Phil-Wood front hub, a cast pewter name badge, a regenerative braking system with Shimano ‘Alfine’ hydraulic disk brakes, and a Brooks leather saddle and grips. The ‘race mode’ enables the bike to reach a maximum speed of 36mph.
The Cruz is offered in three custom colors: either Cola, Fiesta, or Aqua base, all with a stained alder wood frame inlay and metal detailing giving it a very vintage style.
The Silicon Valley-based company are releasing the Vintage Electric limited edition Cruz E-Bike with a limited production run of 50 models and can now be purchased online at a first-come, first-served basis. It isn’t cheap though, with you haven’t to part with $4,995 (about £3’300) to purchase one.
