Calling all fashion enthusiasts!
If you're venturing up north this summer and you're into fashion, be sure to stop off at the Bowes Museum in County Durham.
This July see's the Bowes Museum and the Fondation Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent collaborating to create Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal - the first exhibition in the UK to present a comprehensive display of the French fashion designer's work & life.
The exhibition will present fifty garments including the iconic pieces from the Russian collection, the Mondrian dresses and the Tuxedo. A selection of these garments will be on show at the museum, giving fashion lovers, students and designers in the UK an opportunity to access an array of signature pieces.
Taking over much of the museum's first floor, including the fashion & textiles gallery, which has hosted a variety of high profile fashion exhibitions - for example Vivienne Westwood Shoes, Stephen Jones Hats and most recently 'Birds of Paradise: Plumes & Feathers in Fashion'.
Opening from the 11th July - 25th October 2015 - tickets are now available so get yours before they sell out. Will you be taking the time to go see this long awaited collection?
