Coldplay have released the first track from their new EP Kaleidoscope and it has a cool video to go with it. Hypnotised is a tranquil, soothing, and at times trippy video of pastel-hued views of land and sea overlaid with song lyrics.
The release is a follow up to the Number One 3 x Platinum album A Head Full Of Dreams, and features some tracks that didn’t make it onto there.
The five-track EP is due for release on June 2nd and also features their hit collaboration with The Chainsmokers – Something Just Like This – a single from the duo’s debut album set to come out next month, and a video which broke YouTube's single-day streaming record with nine million views when it was released last month.
Check out the Mary Wigmore-directed video for Hypnotised below, which is a gentle change of pace from their normal videos, and actually doesn't feature any members of the band.
