When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern, Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.
As well as Hunman and Law the film also stars Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou and Eric Bana, and also keep an eye for a cameo appearance from David Beckham.
Filming took place at Windsor Great Park, Snowdonia, and The Highlands in particular and was made with a budget of roughly $100 million.
The film gets released in the UK on May 12th Warner Brothers, and is planned as the first installment of a six films series.
