In September, for 10 days only, London diners can enjoy a gourmet meal experience suspended 100 feet above the ground.
Canary Warf’s London in the Sky dining experience comprises of a 22-seat table with a space in the centre for a renowned chef and their team to prepare, cook and serve food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Having solely catered for private corporate events, the sky-high eatery has been made available for private customers for the first time.
Boasting five top chefs, including Atul Kochhar, Anne Hansen, Alyn Williams and Pascal Aussignac, the pop-up restaurant will launch on September 12. The Modern Pantry will serve a healthy breakfast throughout the 10-day stint, while the lunch, dinner and champagne services will champion a number of chefs from a range of luxury London restaurants.
Arriving 45 minutes prior to elevation, guests will be served a glass of Tattinger champagne before being fastened to their seats by three harnesses. Offering unrivalled views of the city’s skyline, guests will be served three courses at lunch and five at dinner in a truly unique dining experience lasting 45 and 60 minutes respectively.
Running from September 12-21, London in the Sky tickets range from £50 a head for breakfast and £250 for dinner, and can be purchased through the Events in the Sky website where you can also view the full programme of chefs and menus.
