Diane Von Furstenburg Takes To The Screens

Diane Von Furstenburg is taking to the big screen. The award-winning designer is set to star in her very own TV show, The DVF Project, which will premiere in the US later this year. The show will document Diane’s search to find a new global brand ambassador.

In the show young hopefuls will battle it out for a chance to be part of the iconic designer’s empire, giving us all an insight into the fast-paced fashion industry and the life that goes with it.

“I am so thrilled to partner with E!" said Diane on her new adventure, “and to grant young women the opportunity to become the women they want to be".

Diane Von Furstenberg first entered the fashion world back in 1972 when her collection was made up entirely of jersey dresses. Two years on and she created the wrap dress, which she became so famous for. Within another four years she had sold over a million of the dresses and the success has continued. DVF has now expanded to a full collection of ready-to-wear and accessories.

On the reality show the stars are competing for such a highly acclaimed role that it promises to be full of drama and action, I think we can expect lots of tears and fireworks as the stakes are high and the competition is stiff.
