American Tom Yoo has made a name for himself with his LEGO trainer creations, as he’s remade some of the most iconic sneakers in brick-form.
Well for the holiday season, Yoo is selling some of these creations — and for a good cause. There will be ten different styles in his first limited edition release, including Nike Air MAGs, Red Yeezy’s, and a plethora of Air Jordan’s.
Each shoe will be handmade and fully glued, with each housed in a custom laser-cut mini shoe box Yoo modelled after the box of the Jordan 3′s. There will also be a letterpressed certificate of authenticity and each will be numbered (there is only a run of 10 pieces per style).
Prices range from $2,000 USD to $3,000 USD with a percentage of all sale proceeds being split and donated to the Downtown Women’s Center and the Union Rescue Mission which are non-profit organizations dedicated to helping the homeless in Los Angeles’ Skid Row.
Take a look at a few of the creations below, but head over to his shop here to peruse the full set of what’s available, and all orders will be taken through email at email@example.com on a first-come, first-serve basis.
