Womenswear Buyer Kerry Walker talks us through some of the key pieces in the latest Victoria Beckham collection, available in-store at Cruise now.
Victoria Beckham certainly designed a winning collection for this season, the range is full of fabulous separates and stunning dresses teamed back with super sleek bags. It’s no surprise that’s she been spotted out and about in several pieces from the Autumn Winter offering.
Since back in May when Victoria Beckham was photographed at the launch of her collection in Singapore, I have been dreaming about her dress and now the stunning cream number is available here at Cruise. Victoria looked absolutely breathtaking, the simple shape oozed class and sophistication. The ¾ sleeves and round neck line create a timeless design whilst the embellished feather hemline and chain detail adds a stunning touch. Victoria wore hers with simple white court shoes. This dress featured on Victoria’s runway show and it goes without saying that you’ll certainly wow the crowds wearing this little number.
At the end of her runway show for Autumn Winter 14 she appeared on the catwalk looking extremely chic in a black pleated style midi skirt which she looked fabulous in, an absolute must have for the season as this can be worn during the day as well as being dressed up beautifully for an evening look. Gentle folds at the waist teamed with the raw edging give this chic skirt a modern look.
Another piece from the collection that Victoria looked great in was the Intarsia top, the short sleeve top is fresh and fun whilst being extremely stylish. Cut in a classic t-shirt shape the crepe top is extremely versatile and would look great with anything from a crisp tailored suit to a clean cut pair of jeans.
Renowned for constantly having an ‘it’ bag on her arm Victoria has been seen sporting her Quincy design as well as the fabulous small zip pouch clutch. The Quincy shopper is constructed from lovely buffalo leather and has two top handles, an internal pocket and loop fastening detail as well as the embossed branding on the front hardware. The small calf leather pouch is fantastic for an evening, it features a zip closure with two inner compartments and is again finished with discreet embossed branding on the zip hardware.
Victoria Beckham’s Fall 14 collection was all about the detail and these four pieces were no exception, each one is beautifully designed and constructed and I'm sure each one will be a winning style for the season.
