Originating as an outerwear firm producing all-weather jackets for motorcyclists and pilots in Staffordshire in 1924, Belstaff branched out and began manufacturing goggles, gloves and other essential garments for bikers and aviators oversees. Internationally recognised for creating the first water resistant waxed cotton in the 1920s, Belstaff brought something truly unique to the market. The new material which withstood the most testing weather conditions attracted new forms of attention, as men and women sought to incorporate Belstaff in their most intrepid ventures. Growing from strength to strength, Belstaff re-positioned itself as the premium, contemporary brand we know and love today.
