Maker of the world’s most expensive mobile phones, Vertu, is to release a luxury smartphone in collaboration with premium car maker, Bentley.
The first Vertu for Bentley handset is due for release in October this year and will feature ‘authentic and iconic’ Bentley design as well as luxury lifestyle services and exclusive Bentley content for owners, travellers and enthusiasts which can be accessed through a specialist app.
The collaboration series is part of a deal between the two British brands that will see a further four phones hit the market over the next five years.
Bentley have said the series of luxury smartphones with Vertu will be ‘distinguished by the unparalleled design, craftsmanship, contemporary elegance, outstanding performance and integrated technologies’ for which the two companies are renowned.
This is not the first time Vertu have teamed up with a big name from the motor industry, in 2005 the brand collaborated with Ferrari to create two special versions of their Vertu Ascent handset which retailed at around $25,000.
Vertu hand build all of their handsets in the UK using only the most premium materials and are famous for the opulent extra services which come as standard, including a private concierge, exclusive entry to events and bars and a 24hr technical helpline with remote desktop to solve any problems, should you have them.
