Moncler
Established in 1952, Moncler has catered for an impressive cross-section of society, from sporting icons and heroic explorers, to Hollywood's rich and famous. This AW14/15 collection is a tribute to the brand's illustrious history. Drawing inspiration from garments of the 50s, these pieces hark back to the major Alpine expeditions that Moncler so loyally served. However, every Moncler collection has an urban slant, and this year it comes in the form of the classic parka. In camouflage prints, the fabrics see flannels teamed with luxurious yarns such as cashmere, alpaca, Shetland and kid mohair.
Moncler Gamme Bleu
From the renowned Thom Browne comes the new AW14/15 Moncler Gamme Bleu collection. Browne walks a fine line, delicately combining Moncler's expertise in active sportswear and outerwear, whilst using his sartorial background to create some truly unique garments. Inspired by the world of golf, the collection strives to see contemporary silhouettes paired with a beguiling range of fabrics, from wool and Oxford canvas to technical fabrics such as lightweight Cordura and Ripstop nylon.
Moncler Grenoble
With unparalleled mountain technicality, Moncler Grenoble was conceived to produce clothing that could endure the most brutal of conditions. However, it is my no means reserved only for the athletes and great explorers; with expertly combined materials and colours, these jackets are ideal for the city life, too. Using three-dimensional waterproof and breathable meshes, English wools and print nylon, this is a collection crafted by a brand at the peak of their powers.
