A brand born out of the necessity to produce traditional raincoats for the modern day, Stutterheim takes it's inspiration from company founder Alexander's grandad. Not the most likely of sources for a fashion brand, but it was senior Stutterheim's fishing raincoat - and how it stood up to the "heaviest rains and loudest of thunderstorms" - that was the source of the founder’s inspiration. Finding his grandfather's old raincoat in an abandoned barn, Alexander Stutterheim set about recreating the perfect all-weather outerwear.
