Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show last week the Renault Trezor Electric GT Concept Car has turned heads and made huge waves with its sleek style and futuristic design that includes an unbelievable entrance and exit strategy.
Featuring an opening top instead of doors the innovative design isn’t only futuristic — the car is fast too. It boasts a 260kw battery capable of 360 hp and 282 pound feet of torque. This power allows it to go from 0 to 62 mph in under four seconds.
Measuring in at 15 feet long, 6 feet wide, and only 3 feet tall, you might envisage a muscular silhouette, but with carbon fiber bodywork and striking red glazing it is much more elegant. Contrasting surface finishes serve to further the pleasing design aesthetic behind the Trezor, as the interior of the vehicle boasts fiery red, finished with a dashboard made from red wood that incorporates a luggage compartment at the vehicle’s front.
And not only eye-catching but technologically advanced too with autonomous driving capabilities.
Of course as with most ‘concept cars’ apart from the one that gets the outings for the videos and promo stuff there’s still some way to go before we see them in full production - if ever - however such has been the great response to the Trezor that it’s more than likely we’ll see them on the streets in the future.
