There’s few things we like more than waking up in the morning to the smell of fresh coffee, so imagine if your alarm clock could be the one making you that hot cup of Joe.
Well that’s the idea behind The Barisieur, an alarm clock that eases you into the day with the subtle noises of stainless steel ball bearings vibrating as they boil water through an induction heating system in order to bring you your all important first caffeine fix of the day.
You’ll have to remember to fill it up with the necessary coffee beans, sugar and milk before you head off to the land of nod though, or else you’ll be waking up to a hot cup of nothing.
The Barisieur is the idea of British designer Josh Renouf, who has worked on projects for the likes Nestle and Paul Smith as well as designing a range of helpful products, and although it is not yet in production, you can register your interest on his website JoshRenoufDesign.com.
