The fashion gods have spoken and have sided with us pink obsessives, and taken the attitude that everyone looks prettier in pink for their SS17 collections.

The colour pink has been the subject of much debate throughout history. While many designers have been forever linked to a uniform of monochrome, entire segments of fashion culture have been solely dedicated to the shade. Pink has long been a part of statement-making fashion.
The colour has an enduring and complex history; before it was considered girlish and feminine, it was considered masculine by virtue of being a diminutive of red. It was not until the early 19th century that pink became coded as female, while blue was indicative of masculinity.
Fortunately the tables are turning, and the hue is now almost as popular with men as it is with women, the pink shirt now a staple in many a modern man's wardrobe.
The big question, of course, is whether pink will overtake black as the colour of choice. Will die hard fans of the LBD be tempted to go for something pink this season? I do hope so.
Hopefully by now you're ready to give pink a go, even if its only a pink accessory you can commit to, go for it!
If you need further encouragement, look to Audrey Hepburn, who once said 'Ladies, I believe in Pink.' As far as this season is concerned, she was on to something.
